Joe Razo
Basic Mission Leader
Basic Mission

Basic Mission cares for the homeless by providing them with basic necessities for survival. We have outreach teams that minister all hours of the day and night by distributing items to those on the streets and in undeveloped areas where they have established camps. Regular gatherings are held to help build relationships and encourage each other. Volunteers are able to introduce the homeless to Christ by showing unconditional love, establishing relationships, helping provide resources needed to end their homelessness, and encouraging them to become volunteers to help minister to others the Hope of Christ. Volunteers may participate in various ways to include: praying for the homeless, joining a street outreach team, sorting donations, assembling supplies, obtaining and disbursing information to team members, helping at various gatherings and collecting donations and needed supplies (such as socks, hygiene items, food, blankets, sleeping bags and backpacks). Instruction and training will be provided.

Donation Box for Clothing
St. Jerome now has a Donation Box in the far corner of the North East Parking Lot for all of your clothing donations. Please drop your donations in this brown, painted box. Let's keep the Vestibule tidy. Only food goes into the St. Vincent de Paul box. Many thanks to Joe Razo for the idea and to Bob Fischer for building it!
