Help Save A Life By Donating Blood At Our Church Blood Drive

Who Can Donate?

  • If you are in general good health
  • Anyone 16 years of age or older/minimum weight of 110 (Need to meet weight/height requirements if 16-22 years of age)
  • If you have identification containing your legal name and photo. ID can be from any country, state, city


How Do I prepare For My Blood Donation?

  • Bring identification containing your legal name and photo (ID can be from any country)
  • Drink plenty of water 3 days prior to your donation
  • Eat a high-protein, low-fat meal before donating
Benefits In Donating Blood:

  • Upon donation, you will receive a free, mini physical.
  • Your cholesterol, iron level, blood pressure, and temperature will be checked
  • You will receive a donor card containing your blood type
  • Enjoy free juice and cookies
  • If you help recruit a new donor, you will be rewarded with two FREE movie tickets
The process takes up to 60 minutes, but the actual donation only takes about 10 minutes. Needles are sterile, single use needles. You will not gain weight if you donate, and you can donate if you are diabetic and using clean, sterile needles for insulin. You can also donate if you have had a tattoo, but need to wait 12 months after receiving a tattoo.
